A serious note

Most of this post is just going to be stinkin' cute - however I have one serious note to start out with.

Today we went to a Civil War Reenactment. It was facinating. It was also very sad and a good reminder of the prices of war. Many people are facinated by war and by its tools. It is all to easy to overlook the human price of war.

I am not anti - war. I would just like those that wage to remember that war is a necessary evil that we want to engage only when we must, not a glorious adventure. It is something we sometimes have to do in a fallen world. Hopefully it is not something we do because we want to.

In any case it was a wonderful weekend. Let the cuteness begin.
