So we are seeing JJ's language and social skill just explode. She turned three last month and it is sort of like someone flipped another little switch in her head. She now talks pretty non stop and it is a sort of 3 YO stream of consciousness. What is pretty funny is that 3YO is mostly thinking a bout - herself! Really fun to see the world from her point of view. Mr. M reports that they visited a local playground this week. JJ loves this one. Along with slides and swings they have several little play houses built into the equipment. JJ goes into one, leans out the window and asks her Baba - "do you want any fries"? Of course Mr. M played along and agreed he would love some fries. She then asked if he also wanted a milkshake. He reckoned so, so JJ proceeds to "prepare" the goods and hand them out the window. She then moves along and serves another parent standing close by. This lead to some questions on my part about exactly what Mr. M is feeding JJ every afternoon. ALL - Repeat after me. This is just a phase. It is not a career decision. It is just a phase, it is just a phase . . .
