On the contrary we have been so busy I have not had time to stop and post.
At the end of February we attended what must be the last celebration of Chinese New Year in the entire planet. Our FCC puts on the party, but we sort of get the room and dancers after all the other celebrants. None the less it was pretty darn great.

Of course Mr. M had to carry LiNi out when the scary Lion Dancers got going. JJ solved the problem by hiding behind me . . . .
Desert Adventures
Last weekend we went to visit my Cousin and his family near 29 Palms and found ourselves hiking through Joshua Tree National Forest. LiNi does not hike much of course, so I ended up packing her around.

In the mean time LiNi is having fun around the house, and JJ is really enjoying her 3 day a week school schedule. JJ is really close to full on reading and it seems she is quite good at math.
