The "non photo shoot"

We had a photo shoot scheduled at the park today.  I had pretty new dresses all ready, and I packed several backup outfits as well as the girls Chinese silks.

Just one problem.  We made it.  We were there.  The photographer was not.

After a half hour we changed back out of our fancy dresses to something more casual.

Well sort of a photo shoot

Then we went to the Fancy Smanchy restaurant in the park (a favorite pre kids).



Then we loaded the strollers with kids and hiked to the antique carousel.

First actual ride for both of them. They had a ball.



Then we paid another $2.50 to load them on an antique airplane contraption

We took a few rides, hiked to the car, and went home.



The girls crashed in about 10 minutes.
It was a  successful day after all.
