It is Labor Day weekend. For JJ and Josie regular school starts back up on Tuesday.
This year is bittersweet. JJ will return to her school as a first grader.
She has grown from a funny, stubborn, hard playing toddler to a funny, stubborn, hard playing compassionate little girl. She has a big sense of humor and draws and writes beautifully.
The toddler I thought would be bald forever has grown her hair to her waist. More importantly we see the beginnings of a fine character. JJ works hard in all she attempts, and she loves God.
Josie goes back in as a preschooler again. . She is a exuberant ray of sunshine in spite of all she has endured this past year. JJ giggles and Josie belly laughs. This year has seen open heart surgery, hard recovery, and a really tough medical regime. Josie just goes on loving life. Josie is catching up on all her skills so fast. It will be very interesting to see her progress when it is time for the next school year.
