The big seven

JJ is seven!  I can not believe how quickly she is growing up.

JJ has become a good student, a fluent reader and a sweet and compassionate sister and daughter.
She wakes up early, tidies up her room, wakes up Mr. M and gets breakfast with maybe a side of homework.  She is in first grade this year and is learning so much!

Mr. M and I are still wondering how this beautiful, wonderful little soul was referred to us.

As is usual around here the celebration started a couple days early with cake and balloons in JJ's classroom.

On her Birthday JJ wanted to go to a petting zoo that is halfway between where we live and where my Mom lives.   So we packed up the new mini van, picked up a friend who happened to be in town, and headed North.

We met my sister and Mom had a great lunch at a kid friendly spot then strolled to the petting zoo.

 JJ loves horse rides.

Josie loves any and all animals.

The llamas were a particular hit.

We finished with the traditional roll around in a ton of dried corn.

JJ says it was the best Birthday EVER. :-)
