Hospital food. Yummmmmmm.
Update time.
Update time.
We don't know if that was strep or something else, but whatever it was antibiotics fixed it fast.
Josie and I were able to keep her check up appointment at Stanford this Friday.
Overall things look a bit better than 2 weeks ago. 2 weeks ago it looked like the pressures inside her heart and lungs and gone way up, but now the pictures look about the same as before. But it it clear she still need more of this medicine to equal what she used to get through her central line. Right now she is unable to hold her oxygen levels up as well as before the switch. (on the positive side she just set another land record for distance in a 6 minute walk test.)
Now that Josie is better I will be increasing her medication every few days and crossing my fingers she tolerates those increases well.
The other challenge is waking 7 year old up and getting her to eat 220 + calories. We both need patience on that one!
Thanks for staying with us on the journey.

Glad she is better! We can't get Alyzabeth to eat first thing in the morning either; sorry that Josie has to....
Merry Christmas!
Alyson
Thank you Alyson - it is still a day to day thing. Hoping this works!
