This blog is to keep our family and friends up to date as we wait for a referral of our first child from China.
We decided to start a family a little later than usual, but can't wait to make up for lost time.
Our request to adopt was logged into the China adoption system 2/17/2005. We requested a girl between 14 and 24 months.
We have now been waiting for a referral for 21 months. The wait is unexpectedly long, but we know it will be worth it.
We are excited and eager to get to the next step - picking up our child in China.
