JJ's Big Day

JJ is FIVE now.  She is a little girl no more.
She is growing into a lovely young girl.
Mommy has mixed feelings about this.

We decided to do something special as a family.

We met LauLau (my Mom) and my sister and we took JJ and Josie to Knotts Berry Farm for the first time EVER.

 We mostly stayed in either the Ghost Town or the Camp Snoopy sections, and as far as the girls were concerned Knott's ROCKS.

Of course we came across a mock gun battle.  Josie was horrified  by the racket and burst into tears.  After that any time one of the Cowboys saw her they would holster their guns and raise their hands to the sky in surrender.  Oh the power of feminine tears.

Camp Snoopy with it's kiddy rides was the hands down favorite, and the best as far as the girls were concerned was the Balloon ride (with the race cars a close second)

And - JJ and Josie have a new love.  His name is Snoopy.

And JJ is showing some Explorer genes - she loved the bridge and waterfall.
