Josie has her next heart cath scheduled for Wednesday AM (bright and early!)
It took me 4 weeks of calling and bugging to get this test scheduled because we have 2 usually unrelated medical specialties participating.
And one of the test authorizations expires July 11. Which is to say I REALLY want to get this test done.
Early this week Josie developed swollen bleeding gums. It could be a virus that is more common in kids with her type of history.
And tonight JJ came down with a bug that had her temp go up to 101 in about 20 minutes flat. Maybe less. Poor bug felt awful.
Right now all is well. Josie's gums seem to be getting better and healing with extra attention, and with a little ibuprofen JJ's fever broke and she is sleeping like a log.
But if Josie is not absolutely well then we will likely have to call that heart cath off. Please pray for her and for the rest of us to get and stay healthy.
And if you are so inclined pray for her lungs to be healed and heart ready for that surgery as well.

The update
JJ kept spiking a fever, then feeling better. About 11:30 this morning her fever spiked to 102.6 and rising so I tossed some Ibuprophen down her and we headed to urgent care
Since Josie has a low grade fever and sore gum I had her checked too.
Looks like JJ had just started her first ear infection ever. We caught it before it really hurt, but she sure felt bad.
Josie has a gum infection.
Both are on antibiotics. I have a message in for the cardiologist to call me so we can talk about if this will cause us to reschedule her heart cath next week (or hopefully not)
