Looking East and West

Like cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a distant land. Proverbs 25:25

Gobsmacked

That is us.

As we were leaving our Thanksgiving dinner for the long drive home I glanced at my e-mail - and saw an e-mail from the cardiologist at Stanford.

To make a long story short they are proposing we consider doing a full repair on Josie.

We are astonished astounded and thunderstruck.

We have been told this is too dangerous.

LPCH has a different take on it, and sees a window of opportunity right now.

This pretty much changes - everything.  It is 180 degrees from our previous direction.

It is also more time than I took off work, arranged the home stuff for . . . well you get it.

Please pray everyone involved has extreme amounts of wisdom  And peace.  And strength.

Friends - we are likely going to need more help than we expected.

PS - we are excited beyond words by this possibility.  We are just  in a state of shock right now.  It will be complicated to pull off with no preplanning, but if this is Josie's chance we will thank God and go forward!
