Deuteronomy 4:9

“Only take care, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things that your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. Make them known to your children and your children's children—

This seems so appropriate for today's tale.

The stories of how JJ and Josie came into our lives are tales of God's leading, kindness and mercies.

Today's tale is a bit more - um - about me.

Right after we got "the word" that said trying to fix Josie's heart was too dangerous - she was inoperable- I scheduled an appointment with a new ophthalmologist   Our usual much trusted doc had retired.  I was due for a check, and it was time for the girls to have their first check up as well.

The girls check up came out OK.  Mine - not so much.  The Doc said he saw early signs of Glaucoma - but with no increase in eye pressure.  This is a BAD combo as there is no treatment.

He wanted to take a wait and see approach.  This is not my usual way of dealing, but we had medical stuff for Josie to manage, so I did wait.  Once we got through her surgery though - well I found the best Glaucoma center in the region and got myself there.

Long tale short,there is no sign of Glaucoma.  They are not sure why that doc thought he saw it.
