Looking East and West

Like cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a distant land. Proverbs 25:25

Too busy to blog . . .

Not that that is a bad thing, but we have had so much on the schedule that I am  choosing sleep over blogging.  And I feel it is a good choice too!

Catch up is below.

On the medical front - Josie seems to be doing well.  She has more energy (and it seems she is a little pill when she feels good.  We are glad to see the spunky).

We are titering up her meds a little at a time.  There are some side effects, so there are some uncomfortable moments, but it might just be working.  We won't actually know how much is her recovering from the heart repair vs. the medication helping the lungs until we see the cardiologist next week.  Ill be sure to post more.

In the meantime, say a prayer for Sarah and her new daughter Naya.  Naya has been home a few months now, and like little Josie her heart condition is MUCH more complex than the China medical's would indicate.  So Sarah is now in the wonderful stressful process of second opinions and hard hard medical decisions.  They would so much appreciate prayer support.

Thank you Kim!! Your prayers and your friends' prayers are so appreciated. And I'm so thankful to have a friend who understand all of this and that you have helped guide me on this so far. It means a lot to me and Naya.
