Ahhh, late again. I am trying to get new posts up every month, but so far not so good! June was mostly JJ growing like a weed, including some hair thankgoodnessgracious. July saw the first Fourth and a vacation trip that included visiting JJ's adoption mate from Inner Mongolia - the always beautiful Myia. JJ is STILL talking about Ms. Myia in fact. On the same trip we went to my family reunion in the high Utah dessert - and it was great. Pics to follow - |

Your daughter is adorable! She really is growing. I linked to your blog through RQ, and as I was scrolling through your posts, I saw Mr. M giving his tenth gallon of blood. It reminded me of five special people whose blood I received during the birth of my daughter. I'll never forget lying on the gurney during the c-section and realizing that things had gone really, really wrong. I was beginning to lose consciousness from blood loss and the anesthesiologist was screaming for help as she tired to get blood to flow into an IV line that didn't seem to be functioning. Five pints of blood later, I was alive to tell the tale. Thank God for great surgeons and for people like Mr. M!
I was a blood donor before then, but I never really thought of the lives that could be saved. A half hour of time and a pint of blood really do make a difference!
Thank Mr. M for me!
