Looking East and West

Like cold water to a weary soul, so is good news from a distant land. Proverbs 25:25

Some debts run so deep

They can never actually be repaid.

In China our diaper bag was stolen in the Beijing airport. This was BAD. That bag had toys, a blanket, snacks, a change of clothes, and most important - DIAPERS. That would be a 14 hour flight with NO DIAPERS. We replaced the snacks with cookies from the airport shop. We replaced the toys with a bag and a magazine to tear up. But we did not find anything that even resembled diapers.

Another family that lives a few miles from us - different agency, different referral date, but in China the exact same time- was sharing that flight home. They gave us enough diapers to get us back home. Bless them

We had them and their daughter over for a little water fun. She is a tiny little thing and about a year younger than JJ.

Which leads me to one final question. How in the HECK did I ever get Ms. A's diapers to fit on JJ?

You were so lucky to have good friends willing to give up the coveted diapers! Looks like all had fun visiting!
