Another Families of Children from China tradition.
This is Josie's second one here - and JJ's FIFTH! Time does fly.
We love to meet our FCC friends.

The kids love the playground.

For the last two years FCC has had Lion Dancers as part of the festivities. Last year JJ and Josie ran away. This year they hid behind Mom and Dad and peeked a bit. I think they were impressed!

| Guess who gets to play the back end? |
At the very end we take our lanterns and walk around the field. I talk to them about how this is the time of year we remember family near and far and remember the people even in China who are special to us because we all walk under the same big moon. Or I tried to talk to them. They were significantly zipped up after moon cakes and lion dancers. Mostly they ran around. Josie ran out of energy half way round so I carried her back. To quote Ms. Josie ... that's OK.

That was so much fun. Maybe next year Naya won't be as terrified of the Lions either :)
