In any case this blog break meant we had a LOT happening - and none of it was a big deal or bad. We just ended up with two or more activities scheduled each weekend, leading to a mad scramble to get the laundry and grocery shopping done. No time for posting!
First and foremost everyone is reasonably healthy and well.
JJ had a short bout of flu, but so far Josie and the big people in this house show no signs of it. We had JJ one a round of Tamiflu so in the end is was a pretty minor illness with just a few school days lost .
Josie is feeling good. Her medication schedule is crazy, but she is recovering well. We see her gaining in strength every week and talking more all the time.

| It is all about food actually |
The local children's hospital held a big shebang for their heart kids (it being February). I took Josie and JJ. BaBa stayed home to take a break. I had not been to one of these, so everything was a new experience. It was pretty loud (DJ) and hectic, but there were lots of little kid games with prizes and there were people dressed as different characters. Josie and JJ LOVED the Princess crew,
but Josie took complete exception to the 6 foot Easter Bunny. She screamed and cried every time he got wthin 5 feet of us. So- the entire party was spent working around Mr. Bunny.
We did not stay too long, but we stayed long enough for JJ to WIN a beautiful princess doll that Josie just coveted. JJ gave it to her and I was so proud of big girl. Karma was there that day and a worker came by with a bin of stuffed animals and gave JJ a big stuffed monkey she much preferred anyway :-).
So it all worked out.
Other than that well . . . we had a trip to see Lau Lau.
