All the stitches came out today and most of the other gear was removed (traumatic but not really painful). All the nutrition and liquid IV's are gone.
All that is left now is O2 and a semi-permanent port in her hand in case of emergency. It makes taking a stroll much easier for sure.
Even better, we have a plan to check us out and send us home on Sunday. Sweet.
I am sure Sunday will be a very long day, but that's OK. Home sounds really good.
