- Nothing is really changed. We are still working on the same things
- The Doctors were super late getting to us on rounds today
- And little girl is feeling just well enough to be super cranky and clingy and I am spending most of my time holding and rocking today. Not much time left over to update.
With any luck she will be weaned off the high flow by tomorrow. We can then start to work on eating and drinking. She has not, with the exception of a quarter cup of broth, done that since surgery. She really really wants food and water. She says so every 10 minutes or so.
Despite that the docs are pleased with her progress. They are just being super cautious about doing anything quickly. It is hard to be patient, at least for me, but I keep repeating "better safe than sorry".
More tomorrow. Maybe not MUCH more, but I'll send a note.
